SIALKOT: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Sunday said that efforts were on to steer the country out of crises, ARY News reported.

“The coming days will bring change in the lives of the people. The government is making sincere efforts for steering the country out of crises and people would observe a visible change in near future,” Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said while addressing a public gathering in Sialkot. She said that democratic process was the only way out to get rid of social, political and economic complications.

Talking to media, she said that front men of some political parties were trying to mislead people for their vested interests, but they would fail as people had become politically aware because of the PTI struggle in the past years.

In fact, the hue and cry being raised by some political parties was aimed at diverting the public attention from massive corruption of their party leaders, she added.
