Eid ul Fitr is being celebrated in Saudi Arabia and several other Middle East countries along with UK, France and Belgium today.
Large congregations held at several places to offer Eid prayers today.
Two large congregations were held at Masjad ul Haram and Masjid e Nabavi in holy cities of Makkah and Madina in Saudi Arabia today to offer Eid ul Fitr prayers.
According to reports more than a million people attended the Eid prayers at the two holiest places of Islam.
Large congregations for Eid prayers were also held in United Arab Emirates (UAE) today.
The Muslims in United States, Japan, Indonesia and Turkey also celebrating Eid ul Fitr on Friday.
The Muslims in France are celebrating Eid this year on two different days like the past year. After an announcement from Jama Masjid in Paris, some people are celebrating Eid today. While the people following Fiqah Jaffariya will celebrate Eid on Saturday.
Eid will be cerebrated in Pakistan on Saturday as the Shawwal moon, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramazan, was not sighted on the evening of Thursday.
