Eid-ul-Fitr: Pakistan Rangers present sweetmeats to Indian BSF

According to details, Pakistani Wing Commander Bilal gifted sweetmeats to to the Inspector General of BSF J.S. Oberoi at Wagah Border.

Pakistan and Indian border troops have been exchanging sweetmeats for quite some time but the activity could not take place last year due to the prevailing tensions along the Line of Control.

It should be noted that Pakistan Rangers and Border Security Forces border troops had exchanged confectioneries on Pakistan‘s 68th Independence Day on Aug 14, India‘s Republic Day in January and in November on account of Diwali.

Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of the holy month of Ramazan in which Muslims around the world abstain from eating, drinking, smoking and having sex from dawn to dusk.
