The road accident took place when the vehicle crashed into a truck near Kamonki Toll Plaza due to which eight people were wounded. The truck driver managed to escape.
Rescue 1122 teams arrived at the scene and shifted the injured to Civil Hospital for treatment.
The wounded were identified as Hameeda Bibu, Tanveer, Abdul Basit, Shehryar, Abdul Majeed, Najam, Mohammad Akram and Ghulam Abbas.
Kamonki Police has launched the investigation of the road mishap. It is said that the road mishap was caused due to foggy weather conditions.
