The nudity clause will bind each and every actress that stars in Ekta Kapoor to film intimate scenes and also utter explicit dialogues, as much as the script demands. Ekta Kapoor conquered the TV industry with hits like Kasauti Zindagi and Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki before being involved in the production of big name movies such as Shootout at Lokhandwala, Shootout at Wadala, Main Tera Hero, Krishna Cottage, Ragini MMS and Once Upon A Time In Mumbai. However, Ekta’s most critically acclaimed and praised controversial movie has been The Dirty Picture, starring Vidya Balan. The movie became a sensation due to VIdya’s portrayal of bold actress Silk and won her numerous awards.
Her latest ventures involved ex-porn star and now Bollywood’s most sought-after item girl Sunny Leone. In Ragini MMS 2, there were lots of intimate scenes that were too bold, considering Indian film standards. The next project which will feature the nudity clause is going to be XXX, an erotic thriller under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures which will be directed by Ken Ghosh and features a relatively new cast.
“This is a first-of-its-kind happening in Hindi cinema. The details of the clause are the responsibility of the Balaji legal team. As the creative head of the project, all I can say is it will give me a leeway to freely pursue whatever my script demands,” said Ghosh.
