Electoral reforms body to meet tomorrow

ISLAMABAD: The Parliament Committee on Electoral Reforms will hold its first meeting at the Parliament House here on Wednesday (tomorrow), ARY News reports.

The committee in its first meeting would elect its chairman, sources said. The committee members would also decide the terms of reference for the electoral reforms body.

According to sources, the government has decided to propose the name of Minister of Finance Ishaq Dar for the top post of the committee.

National Assembly Speaker had announced the 33-member parliament committee on July 25 for reforms in the  electoral process to ensure a free and fair elections in future.
