LONDON: Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif has said a few elements are not happy with a ceasefire between the Government of Pakistan and Taliban, these people are neither our friends, nor of Taliban – ARY News reports.
In his interview to BBC, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif told that security has been an issue since 9/11, when there was dictatorship in Pakistan. He told that security challenges have never been faced by the state as well as the people, during democracy.
Speaking about the recent statement of the Army Chief, General Raheel Sharif, he said that the statement served as a way to clarify different misconceptions and rumors being spread.
PM Nawaz further told that some elements are not happy with Government-Taliban truce, these are neither our friends, nor of Taliban.
