Emirates resume flights to Peshawar

TOP NEWS

According to details, a passenger flight of the Emirates airline landed at the Peshawar Airport on Thursday morning at 6:45 am. This was the first international flight that landed at the Bacha Khan International Airport, after the June 24 incident when several bullets were fired from unknown direction at a PIA flight PK-756, minutes earlier to landing.

A woman was killed, while two others at the flight were injured including a crew member, after which foreign airlines had suspended their flight operations at Peshawar Airport.

The international flights, however, will operate only in daytime owing to security reasons.

Sources told that reservations of foreign airlines over below-par security at Peshawar airport had been addressed, after which resumption of flights could be made possible.
