Enemies of Pakistan do not want state to progress: Iqbal

Addressing a Pakistan Engineering Council ceremony, the minister said that the time for staging protests in the country has passed and the state is progressing.

Iqbal said, “Some people, who do not want Pakistan to progress, are using others to fulfill their objectives.”

The minister went added that not a single coal-based development was set up in Sindh’s arid region of Thar and the government has launched coal based energy projects.

“The Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) government has initiated coal-based power projects in Thar which will make the industries progress,” he said.
