Government trying to cover its corruption in Panamagate, says Khan

He stressed that if the state institutions and political parties continued to ignore the scandal then the menace of corruption would ruin the entire country.

The PTI Chairman questioned authorities that why Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was not being arrested.

Earlier on Monday, Mr Khan told media in Bani Gala near his residence that the government and critics of the ‘Raiwind March’ would be surprised to see an entire nation supporting his party in protest.

Mr Khan confidently said how many people would attend PTI’s March in Raiwind would be revealed on the 30th of this month.

He said a peaceful protest was his party’s democratic right particularly after state institutions failed to provide justice on repetitive occasions.

However, Mr Khan also warned that if the government or Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers tried to disrupt the flow of the march, officials would not be able to stand the reaction, ARY News reported on Monday.

PTI would follow every course of action that works within the framework of law and constitution of Pakistan, said PTI Chairman.

Mr Khan reiterated that as far as the issue of Panamagate scandal was concerned all the political major parties in the country were on one page.

PTI leadership, he said, has also extended invitations to opposition parties in a bid to convince them to participate in the protest and sit-in in unison against the alleged government’s corruption along with PTI.

Mr Khan has said on several occasions that his party would continue to protest on the roads until justice was served on the Panamagate Scandal.

Chairman PTI launched a countrywide Ehtesab (accountability) Movement against the governing PML-N, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, who is also his brother.
