SARGODHA: A batch of F-16 fighter jets was added to Pakistan Air Force (PAF) fleet in a ceremony in Sargodha, ARY News reported on Wednesday.
According to reports, Pakistan had signed a contract with Jordan for the supply of 13 fighter jets. A batch of which was inducted in PAF fleet in a ceremony at Mushaf Mir Airbase in Sargodha.
Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif was the chief guest of the ceremony. Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt, Jordonian air force officials and PAF and Pakistan Army officials also attended the ceremony.
The strength of F-16s will reach to 76 with inclusion of the 13 jets, media reports said.
