KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) has ordered inclusion of four private doctors in the medical board established for probe of police torture on Fahad Aziz, a worker of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).

According to ARY News, Barrister Farogh Nasim of MQM had filed a petition in SHC seeking inclusion of private doctors in the medical board for fair probe of the torture allegations against police. 

The petitioner pleaded to the court that the medical board comprises of all government doctors, who can made report as per the wishes of the government. 

The court granted the plea and issued orders for adding four private doctors in the medical board. The court also ordered the board of doctors to submit their report in the court by February 25. 

Fahad Aziz was detained by a police party during his wedding. He was transferred to a hospital in a precarious condition due to torture in custody.
