Failure of talks with Taliban will result in talks again, says Sami
ISLAMABAD: Head of Taliban-nominated committee for peace talks, Molana Sami ul Haq has said that for direct talks with Taliban, such a peace-zone should be formed in FATA where the envoys from both the sides could come and go easily – ARY News reports.
Talking to media here, Sami ul Haq told that no list of prisoners is provided to Taliban by the Government, whilst Taliban leaders provided the list of 300 of their non-combatant prisoners to the Interior Ministry of Pakistan, upon the insurance by the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, that these prisoners will be released.
Commenting on the situation in case of failure of talks, Sami said that if talks fail, then it would again be the talks which will be held.
Responding to a question about newly surfaced organization Ahrar ul Hind, the Head of Taliban committee said that the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has clearly dissociated itself from Ahrar ul Hind.
