Faisal Raza Abidi resigns from Senate

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) member, Faisal Raza Abidi has resigned from his Senate membership, says that no seat is required to fight a war for the supremacy of law and justice – ARY News reports.

Talking to media outside the Parliament House, after presenting his resignation in the Senate, Faisal Raza Abidi told that he resigned upon the demand of party leadership.

Responding to a question, Abidi referred to Musharraf's act of imposing an emergency as justified, whilst he also expressed his grievances for the report of a case filed by him against the former Chief Justice (CJ), Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, was not presented in the Senate of Pakistan.
