FAISALABAD: A CCTV footage of a citizen fighting off robber to save his motorcycle went viral on Friday, ARY News reported.
The footage dated September 4, shows a citizen commuting through a bike near Faisalabad city’s Railway Road when he is approached by an armed robber who threatens him to leave his bike but the man tries to snatch his gun.
The citizen, while attempting to save his bike, also sustained a bullet on his leg but continued his fight forcing the robber to flee the scene without snatching the vehicle.
ARY News correspondent added that the incident occurred near a police check-post on the road.
A First Information Report has been registered but the copy shows the unidentified robber has only been implicated in a firing case.
