‘Family Guy’ fans launch petition to protest death of Brian

According to American media reports an online petition has been launched by the fans of animated series ‘Family Guy’, after death of their beloved talking-dog character Brian in the show.

The petition has garnered over 15,000 signatures on petition site ‘Change.org’ to resurrect the character in the Emmy-nominated series.

Brian, which was voiced by show’s creator Seth MacFarlane, was a major character of the comedy-show. The dog used to talk, drink alcohol, date women and was an aspiring novelist. The character, which was recently killed in a car accident, has been featured in more than 200 episodes.

The comedy series is in its 12th season and surpasses over 6 million viewers an episode.
