According to the details received by ARY News, Ali Nawaz Leghari strangulated five of his children in Saeed Khan Village near Hala to death and is currently at large.
Deceased children were identified as Zohair, Mukhtiyar, Basheer, Haseena and Sumera. Their ages were from two to 12 years.
Police and residents of the area arrived at the scene after receiving the horrific news. Heart wrenching scenes were witnessed in the area.
The bodies of the children were shifted to a local hospital where their post-mortem is being held.
The residents of the area said that Leghari’s wife had returned to her parents with her one child after a fight with her husband due to which the child remained safe.
Police, while confirming the incident, said that the raids are being conducted to arrest of the killer.
