TOP NEWS

These days, Fawad Khan is on a roll. After bagging prominent roles in upcoming Bollywood films with some of the best Indian actors, such as Alia Bhatt, Siddhart Malhotra and Priyanka Chopra, Fawad continues to win awards. Recently, the Pakistani actor won the Best Male Debut award at IBNLive Movie awards.

Fawad was voted in as the most deserving recipient of the award by his fans from across the border. Those who had to content with losing out to the Khoobsurat star included Tiger Shroff, Inaamulhaq and Tahir Raj Bhasin. Fawad was able to take home the award after he secured an impressive 48.54% of the total votes cast. Filmistaan‘s Inaamulhaq came ins second after he garnered 40.58% of the total vote. It seemed like fans were not particularly impressed with Tiger’s debut as he was able to secure a meager 2.45% of the votes.

Last year, Fawad was cast opposite Bollywood beauty Sonam Kapoor in Khoobsurat. As the young Pakistani had charmed his nation back home with back to back hits such as Humsafar and Zindagi Gulzar Hai, he gave an impressive showing as a debutante in his first ever Bollywood film. Owing to his charming on-screen presence and staggering good looks, Fawad became the first Pakistani ever to take home the Filmfare award for Best Debut Male.

2015 is all set to be a great year for the versatile actor, who has secured the lead roles in Kapoor and Sons. The film will feature an ensemble cast which has Bollywood A-list actors attached to it such as Alia Bhatt, Siddhart Malhotra, Rishi Kapoor and Fawad himself. Also, Fawad bagged another role opposite former Miss World Priyanka Chopra, when he signed on to act in Mr.Chaloo.

All the best for Fawad Khan. We hope he continues dominating the Bollywood landscape with his stellar acting and dapper personality. With impressive projects and high budgeted films lying in wait for the star, there remains no doubt Fawad will pick up quite a handful of trophies over the years.
