Fawad Chaudhry appeals media to show responsibility
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has said TV channels not suspended their comedy programs even on December 16, the tragic day in country’s history.
In his tweet, the minister said even on the December 16, the dreadful day, when APS attack took place that left around 150 people, including children and teachers, dead, in 2014, the TV channels had not suspended their comedy programs.

“If such issues are highlighted, it is being sad that the information minister is against media,” Fawad continued in his tweet.
He appealed TV channels to show responsibly, such callous attacks like APS are national issues not related to any single party.
It is pertinent to mention here that the callous terrorist attack on the Army Public School Peshawar left around 150 people, including children and teachers, dead.
On Dec 16, 2014 six terrorists stormed the school and martyred around 150 students and teachers.
After this tragic incident, the government chalked out the National Action Plan (NAP) to eliminate terrorism from the country.
