Fazl did not mean what he stated about ‘martyr’

ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulama Islam-Fazl (JUIF) Chief, Molana Fazlur Rahman has said that his party will cooperate for the peace-talks with Taliban, but the negotiations cannot be successful without the people of FATA – ARY News reports.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the JUIF Chief emphasized on the need of moving forth the peace-process, apart from a temporary delay caused by the US drone attack that killed TTP supremo Hakimullah Mehsud.

He urged for acquiring new ways to hold these talks.

Molana Fazlur Rahman urged the Government to act upon the resolutions of the Parliament and All Parties Conference (APC) regarding former foreign and interior policy of the state.

Commenting on his own statement about the martyr, Fazl stated that he had given an example and did not mean it.

He further added that the last drone attack has clarified that who is behind the terrorism in Pakistan and opposing the restoration of peace here.
