Fazl terms Altaf's demand of new province as entirely irrelevant

PESHAWAR: Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUIF) Chief, Molana Fazlur Rahman has said that Altaf Hussain's demand for a separate province is entirely irrelevant and no patriotic person supports such views – ARY News reports.

The statement was made while talking to media here at Peshawar Press Club on Saturday.

Commenting on former President Pervez Musharraf, he expressed his wishes for early recovery of Musharraf and stated that the decision about the former President been taken abroad is to be taken by someone else, not him.

While responding to a question about peace talks with Taliban, the JUIF Chief returned that for holding negotiations with each other the Government and Taliban both will have to throw down weapons, so that peace could be restored.

He added that the economy of the state depends upon the law and order situation of the country.
