According to officials, the leadership of 16 leaders including Mangal Bagh of banned terrorist organizations took part in the meeting that finalized the plan and strategy for the foul play, in apparent retaliation against ongoing army operation in North Waziristan.

It is learnt that the Peshawar atrocity was ordered by Pakistan Taliban head Maulana Fazlullah.

Fazlullah is understood to have demanded that his deputy Umar Naray to manage the operation, and communicated with the gunmen directly from his base over the border in Afghanistan who transcripts have been obtained by the Pakistan army.

According to sources, communications of Naray have been intercepted which helped security agencies in tracing his location and whereabouts which was urgently shared with the Afghan army.

Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, who flown to Afghanistan on Wednesday, also sought Kabul’s help in order to extradite Fazalullah who is wanted for terrorism cases in Pakistan.
