QUETTA: Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel confiscated 11 fuel tankers of smuggled oil during a raid at Western Bypass and apprehended 14 accused – ARY News reports.
Sources told that these 11 tankers of smuggled oil were being brought to Quetta, whilst FC intercepted the convoy at Northern Bypass, confiscated fuel tankers and apprehended 14 accused. The seized fuel tankers worth Rs 15 crore.
On the other hand, traders protested against FC action, burnt tyres and blocked Western Bypass for traffic.
Later, FC personnel cleared roads and opened bypass for traffic, whereas the huge quantity of seized illegal oil was handed over to customs officials.
