Federal Cabinet approves formation of implementation committee on FATA Reforms

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Cabinet has granted ex-post facto approval to the formation of National Implementation Committee on FATA Reforms.

Minister for Defence Khawaja Asif and Corps Commander 11 Corps have been included in the high level implementation committee.

During a meeting in Islamabad with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in the chair, the cabinet also approved the Hajj Policy and plan for next year with directions not to increase Hajj dues under the Government Hajj Scheme.

The meeting ratified minutes of the meetings of Economic Coordination Committee and minutes of the meetings of Cabinet Committee on the China Pakistan Economic Corridot project.

The cabinet approved appointment of Rear Admiral Zaka-ur-Rehman as Director General Pakistan Maritime Security Agency.
