Federation sacks 5 officials of Mazar-e-Quaid's administration

KARACHI: The Federal Government of Pakistan while acknowledging the efforts of ARY News program 'Sar e Aam' team, has sacked 5 officials and personnel of the administration of Mazar-e-Quaid over the desecration of the mausoleum – ARY News reports.

According to details, the Federal Government dismissed 5 officials and personnel including a retired Major over the desecration of the mausoleum. A notification of the dismissed officials has also been issued.

Sar e Aam's anchorperson Iqrar-ul-Hassan had revealed a few days ago, how was Quaid-e-Azam, Muhammad Ali Jinnah's real grave room was being rented out to young couples by the administration, to pursue their desires.

It was reported that the administration was providing the grave room to boys and girls against a sum of Rs 2500.

Sar e Aam team in the evening today, also staged a protest sit-in condemning the wicked practice by the administration of Mazar-e-Quaid, where political, civil representatives and a large number of people from all walks of life also participated and praised ARY News for exposing evils of the society.

Moreover, the resident engineer of Quaid's Mausoleum had also briefed the protestors about the action taken against the corrupt officials of the administration.

He had also thanked Sar e Aam team for bringing such an issue into their notice.
