Nawaz Sharif called on Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif today in Raiwand. During the meeting they reviewed the political situation of the country. Nawaz Sharif said the ongoing sit-ins in Islamabad have disrupted the prosperity of public and badly affected the national economy.
The Prime Minister said few thousand people cannot hurt the mandate given by the millions of Pakistani. He said national assembly has already made it clear that no conspiracy against the democracy will be allowed to succeed.
Nawaz Sharif informed that demands of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) cannot be fulfilled because they are out his domain, however the government has accepted the demands regarding reforms, he added.
Nawaz said that he had a detailed meeting with Chairman PTI Imran Khan in Bani Gala few days ago. He also questioned who forced Khan to join hands with Tahirul Qadri and arrange a joint march towards Islamabad.
“May be they both had a dream same day for that”, Nawaz itself answered to his query.
