FIA nabs 2 accused of human trafficking
ISLAMABAD: Anti-Human Smuggling Cell of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has apprehended 2 accused including a retired Colonel, involved in human trafficking – ARY News reports.
According to details, FIA Anti-Human Smuggling Cell nabbed 2 accused namely Colonel (R) Faheemuddin Mir and Hussain Mir, involved in human trafficking. The accused were reported to be father and son.
FIA officials told that Faheemuddin used to acquire fraudulent gains by luring the people to send them overseas, whereas his son was going to Australia on fake documents.
During the raid, officials also recovered 4 pistols and Rs 5 lac from the accused; both the culprits were shifted to an undisclosed location for further interrogation.
