KARACHI: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Wednesday apprehended a suspect involved in harassment of a neighbouring woman in Karachi, ARY News reported.
The captured suspect Shoaib was an employee of a government institution, said the FIA. The cybercrime wing of the FIA arrested him during a raid in Federal B Area.
Additional Director FIA Faizullah Koreju said the suspect had been harassing the neighbor for a long time. He said husband of the affectee was gone abroad for employment.
The additional director said pictures were recovered from laptop and mobile phones of the suspect.
On Apr 26, the cyber crime cell of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had arrested a man involved in blackmailing girls on the social media.

According to FIA, the man was identified as Jahangir who had created several profiles on social media platforms with a purpose of deception.
The cyber crime cell of the FIA had said the culprit used to lure girls into helping them provide employment and clear examinations.
It was found that he had harassed a number of girls, and had been involved in the illegal activity for years.
