Fifth Ashes Test: Australia eyeing whitewash

SYDNEY: The fifth and final Ashes test between Australia and England will be played here at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Friday, ARY News reports.

The ongoing Ashes Series has turned out a disaster for the English side. They will be playing the Sydney test to avoid a whitewash and will be fighting for respect.

Australia will be heading to the Sydney test with their eyes set on the whitewash. They will be looking for a clean sweep for the first time since the 2006/2007 Ashes Series. Australia will jump to No. 3 in the ICC Test Rankings if they win the series 5-0.

Mitchell Johnson has a good chance of becoming the highest wicket taker for the Kangaroo's in the five match Ashes series. Johnson has taken 31 wickets in four tests.

Michael Clarke can become the third Australian Captain to force white wash on England in an Ashes series.
