KARACHI: Federal Finance Minister, Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a meeting at State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Tuesday, ARY News reported.
The meeting was held to review Youth Business Loan Scheme, Ishaq Dar urged the concerned officials to finalize the processing of application forms by end of this month. He also directed the concerned officials that the current number of forms did not fulfill the allotted women quota of 50 per cent and needed to be reviewed to address quota requirement.
During the Finance Minister was briefed about the statistics of application forms which have been completely evaluated as per laid down procedure. Also about the rejected ones and the reasons thereof, said an official statement.
Later addressing the Corporate Philanthropy Award Ceremony organized by Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy and UNDP in Karachi ‚ said many measures have been adopted to eliminate existing social difference in the country.
With reference to Youth Loan Scheme, Ishaq Dar youth would be encouraged who put forward feasible projects and consequently may not only be self reliant but also look after others.
