KARACHI: At least four persons were injured in firing in Liaquatabad area, ARY News reported.
The incident took place in C-1 area of Liaquatabad, where unknown armed men opened fire on four persons.
The injured were identified as Shahzad, Hasnain, Ibn-e-Raza and Waqar Ahmed.
They were shifted to hospital for treatment.
Following the firing incident, panic overtook the area and stampede-like situation created in the vicinity.
Police reached the area and controlled the situation.
Karachi has been braving worse law and order situation for around seven years, where thousands of people have fallen prey to different violence incidents – mostly targeted killings.
