Mike Horn is in the country for his #DrivenToExplore journey which he launched from Switzerland and arrived here in Pakistan after crossing 10 countries namely Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and China.

His team members Fred Roux and Köbi Reichen have also accompanied Horn to Pakistan.
The renowned explorer also thanked Pakistani cricketing legend Wasim Akram for helping him to get security clearance for climbing the mountain.

Mike Horn is considered one of the greatest adventurers in the world. He completed a journey around the equator and went for a 60 day journey on the North Pole.
His first expedition was his trip to the Amazon jungle.
The adventurer has also a member of 2011 Cricket World Cup winning Indian side , German Football Team which won the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil and Indian Premier League franchise Kolkata Knight Riders to motivate the respective sides for the tournaments.
