This was disclosed during a meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee on National Health Services held in Islamabad on Friday under the chairmanship of Khalid Hussain Magsi.
The committee was briefed on the Pakistan Nursing Council and the mechanism for registration of nurses. It was recommended to devise a service structure and promotion policy for the nursing staff.
Moreover, it was recommended that online registration facility must be introduced for the registration of nurses, and the sub-offices of the nursing council should be established at provincial level.
