First ODI: Pakistan dismissed on 218

CAPE TOWN: Pakistan was all out on 218 runs in the first One Day International (ODI) against South Africa here at the Bidvest Wanderers on Sunday, ARY News reports.



Pakistan had won the toss and elected to bat first.



Anwar Ali, the right arm tailender, was the highest scorer for the Green Shirts with 43 runs followed by Bilawal Bhatti’s score of 39 runs. Shahid Afridi contributed 26 runs. The hero of the last game Umar Akmal was dismissed for a duck.



Pacers Dale Steyn and Morne Morkel grabbed 3 wickets each whereas Jacques Kallis took 2 wickets and Vernon Philander dismissed 1 batsman.
