LAHORE: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday said that the first priority of the federal government is to overcome the energy shortfall in Pakistan, ARY News reports.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif chaired a meeting at Model Town in which the overall political situation of the country was discussed.
The Premier was briefed about the Nandipur and Gadani power projects.
Addressing the meeting, the Prime Minister said that all steps are being taken to overcome the power crises in the country. He added that the government will rid the nation from load shedding.
He will inaugurate the first turbine of 95 megawatt Nandipur power project on 31st May.
