First test between Pakistan-Sri Lanka to begin tomorrow

GALLE: The first test of two-match series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will begin tomorrow at Galle International Stadium, Sri Lanka, ARY News reported.

This will be their latest bout after the two teams leveled the test series in Sharjah six months ago.

Skippers of both the teams name Misbah-ul-Haq of Pakistan and Angelo Mathews of Sri Lanka are determined for the victory.

Pakistan will look to end an eight-year drought without a Test win in Sri Lanka while the hosts after being surprised by South Africa on home turf will try gain the momentum back.

Pakistan, who had floated to third place in the ICC rankings despite not playing any cricket since January, will drop to sixth if they lose the series.

At Galle, Sri Lanka having a good record by winning 11 tests out of 20.
