First Test: Pakistan all out on 383

ABU DHABI: Pakistan were all out on 383 on the third day of the first test match against Sri Lanka here at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium on Thursday, ARY News reports.

Pakistan started day three at 327/4. The Sri Lankan bowlers made a comeback into the team and the final six Pakistani batsmen could only add 56 runs to the total.

Asad Shafiq could not provide any resistance to the Sri Lankan bowlers and could only score 6 runs. Saeed Ajmal and Rahat were also dismissed in a quick manner.

Pakistani batsman Younus Khan was the standout batsmen in the team as he was dismissed after playing a wonderful innings 136 runs from 198 balls whereas Captain Misbah scored 135 runs from 306 balls. 

Sri Lanka bowlers Shaminda Eranga and Rangana Herath took three wickets each. Suranga Lakmal took two wickets whereas Angelo Mathews dismissed one batsman.

The Green Shirts lead by 167 runs. Sri Lanka are at the crease on 12/0 with Dimuth Karunaratne and Kaushal Silva at the crease.
