According to the SSP Malir, police on Wednesday conducted a raid in Nawab Goth area, where the cops were ambushed by terrorists.
During the encounter, five members of a banned militant outfit including banned Tehreek-e-Taliban commander of Swat were killed, while officials also rounded up more than ten suspects from the locality.
Police also recovered two suicide vests, map of Police Training Center Razzakabad, arms and ammunition from slain terrorists.
Meanwhile, the arrested suspects were shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
