RIO DE LA PLATA, Argentina: Five people were killed and four others were injured in a plane crash near Rio de la Plate in Argentina, ARY News reports on Wednesday.
Nine people, including passengers and crew, were on board when the small aircraft of a private company crashed into a river. The flight was heading towards Paraguay when the unfortunate incident took place.
The wounded were shifted to a local medical facitlity.
Authorities hinted at an engine failure or fog as a reason of the plane crash. The investigation of the incident is underway.
