KARACHI: Five persons were killed while two others were injured in firing and violence related incidents whereas a target killer was arrested in Karachi, ARY News reports on Friday.
Group Clash:
Three people were killed in group clashes at Daryaabad area of Lyari.
Fear and tension gripped the area after the clash.
The bodies of the deceased were shifted to Civil Hospital for identification where they were identified as Haqdar Khan Niazi, Sultan Khan Niazi and Yousuf Khan Niazi.
Bodies found:
Two decomposed bodies were found in the jurisdiction of Mauripur Police Station.
The bodies were taken to Civil Hospital and have not been identified as of yet.
Target killer arrested:
A target killer was arrested by Baloch Colony Police in a raid.
According to SSP South Nasir Aftab, the hitman was involved in 40 offences including extortion and ransom. Several cases were filed against him in different police stations.
Ammunitions were also recovered from the target killer and further investigation of the hitman is underway.
