ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Khursheed Shah said the ban on supporters from waving rival countries’ flags in Bangladesh [during an ongoing World T20] was against the ethics, ARY News reported Wednesday.
Talking to media, PPP leader said Bangladesh should demonstrate sportsman spirit. Banning waving of flags in a cricket ground is against ethics, he added.
He hailed the donations from ‘friends of Pakistan, saying during the tenure of his party there were no such donations and aids.
He said government had surprised everyone by calling development funds as ‘gift’.
To a question regarding Kashmir issue, he said deceased PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto had asked the US to play its role in resolving Kashmir dispute.
