Pakistan’s airspace was closed and flight operations were suspended in the end February, due to escalation of tensions with neighboring India, as two warplanes of India were downed by Pakistan Air Force after their intrusion into the country’s airspace.

On March 9, the aviation authority announced to open its airspace from all sides except India.

CAA had clarified that the airspace from Indian side was closed because the neighbouring country had denied entry of flights into Pakistan.
