According to ARY News, the flood body has predicted that the flooding waters of Indus will enter in Sindh at Guddu between Sept 13 and 14 and at Sukkur on Sept 15.

FFD has advised the relevant authorities to take necessary measures to avoid losses to life and property in the province.

Former president Asif Ali Zardari has chaired an emergency meeting of Sindh officials and directed them to take precautionary measures before the flood enters in the province.

The government of Sindh has cancelled leaves of the irrigation department staff and other employees of the concerned departments as a precautionary measure.

The flooding waters of river Chenab, after ravaging Gujranwala and Sialkot regions in which hundreds of thousands of people were marooned, their houses submerged and livestock washed away, have entered in southern parts of Punjab.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif have visited the flood-hit villages of Sialkot and other affected districts, but there was little help for the flood victims who were left at the mercy of the furious river and its channels.
