It seems as if the Sindh government has finally learned lessons from the sting operation by Team Sar-e-Aam, which highlighted the poor security arrangements at the Sindh Assembly. Any and every person or his staff who enters the assembly is being thoroughly checked by security guards.
Cars entering the premises of the assembly are also being strictly monitored and gate passes are also being checked. These measures have been undertaken by the provincial government after Iqrarul Hassan and another team member of Sar-e-Aam had managed to sneak into Sindh Assembly a licensed pistol, highlighting the absence of implementation of adequate security measures at the Sindh Assembly.
Iqrarul Hassan had to pay a heavy price and was arrested, along with his team member. While Iqrar was released on bail, team Sar-e-Aam member Kamran’s matter is pending at the court.
