Forces arrest 33 suspects in different operations

According to details, Frontier Corps (FC) carried out combing operations in Ismailabad and Musa Colony areas of Quetta and took nine suspects into their custody.

Security forces raided a house in Harnai and seized explosives and munitions. The recovered cache of explosives included eight anti-tank mines and 25000 rounds of light-machine gun.

Moreover, 24 suspects were apprehended during a search operation in different parts of Attock carried out with the help of the intelligence agencies.

Pakistan Army soldiers, Elite Force personnel and police officers also took part in joint operation.

It should be noted that security and intelligence agencies are carrying out combing operations across the country following the Quetta carnage which claimed the lives of 74 people.

A suicide attack took place on 8th August at Quetta’s Civil Hospital in which 74 people, mostly lawyers, lost their lives. The counsels had reached the premises of the medical facility after the killing of a senior lawyer.
