Ethiopian airline makes emergency landing at Lahore airport
LAHORE: A flight travelling from Ethiopia to China made an emergency landing at the Allama Iqbal International airport on Saturday after a reported scuffle between two passengers aboard.
Ethiopian Airlines Boeing-777 was travelling from Addis Abbaba to Beijing when it made an emergency landing at 10:40 AM in Lahore. More than three hundred passengers were on board .
Two foreign passengers on board reportedly scuffled with one another, and also severely wounded members of the airline’s crew.
Airport Security Force have arrested the two passengers after landing at the Lahore airport. ASF official said that the flight will be allowed to depart for Beijing after investigation.
The injured passengers and airline staff have been provided medical aid at the airport.
