LAHORE: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Imran Khan, Chaudhry brothers, Mian Mansha and other public figures have been issued notices over their foreign assets on the orders of Lahore High Court (LHC), ARY News reported on Friday.

Notices have been issued to these public figures through newspaper advertisements on the orders of the court.

The petitioner in his plea made Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, PTI chief Imran Khan, Mian Mansha, Aitzaz Ahsan, Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq and other prominent persons as party in the case with the plea that they have made assets in foreign countries. The petitioner pleaded to the court to issue orders for bringing the foreign assets to Pakistan.

A number of persons had refused to receive the court notices due to which they were issued notices through press advertisements.
