Foreign direct investment lowers during the first 8-months of FY-2013-14
ISLAMABAD: Foreign direct investment (FDI) in Pakistan witnessed a decline of $20.41 million during the first 8-month of current fiscal year as compare to the same time period of previous fiscal year, ARY News reported.
The foreign direct investment in Pakistan in the first eight months of the current fiscal year stood at $606.3 million, as per data revealed by State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
However, FDI increased sharply in February as it amounted to $79.2 million. In contrast, there was an outflow of $14 million in the same month of the preceding fiscal year.
