KARACHI: Despite of receiving inflows of around $40 million from multilateral, bilateral and other official sources the total liquid foreign reserves of the country decreased by $1 lakh, ARY News reported.
During the ending on May 30 SBP has made payments of $ 231 million from its reserves on account of external debt servicing and other official payments.
According to said State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) the foreign reserves of the country stand at $13.43904 billion for the week ended on May 30.
The foreign reserves held by State Bank on May 30 amounted $ 8.68207 billion and the foreign reserves held by other banks figured $ 4.75607 billion, started SBP.
Meanwhile, during the week, SBP’s liquid foreign reserves increased by $ 33 million at $ 8.683 billion compared to $ 8.650 billion in the previous week.
