Former Olympic gold medalist & celebrity Bruce Jenner becomes Caitlyn Jenner; graces cover of Vanity Fair

Former Olympic gold medalist, field athlete and TV personality Bruce Jenner changed his gender to become Caitlyn Jenner. Bruce Jenner rose to fame by being part of the show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.  Not only that, Jenner, in a series of tweets also showcased her happiness for being her ‘true self’ and shared a tweet of herself on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine! The news also started doing the rounds on Twitter and interest on social media in Pakistan in this could be gauged by the fact that ‘Caitlyn Jenner’ was trending on Twitter for much of the day.


Caitlyn revealed her identity after undergoing hours of facial-feminization surgery, breast augmentation and hormone therapy, all of which contributed in her transformation from man to woman. In the interview with Vanit Fair, Jenner had also stated that as Bruce, her preference had been women yet now, with the obvious body changes, it was unsure which gender Caitlyn would prefer sexually.

After Vanity Fair published the cover online, Caitlyn Jenner’s account was flooded with followers which numbered to about one million in just four hours. As of now, her Twitter account has close to 2 million followers.

Caitlyn Jenner has six children, three daughters and three sons. Whilst identifying as a male, Jenner was married for 20 plus years to Kris Jenner, who is the mother of Kim and Khloe Kardashian.
